1.National Gallery of Modern Art
Inaugrated in 2009, this art is the third modern art gallery in India after Delhi and Mumbai. A visit to the NGMA can make you a witness to the modern and contemporary art by treasured Indian artists like Radindra Nath Tagore, Raja Ravi Verma, Amrita Shergil to name a few. Ranging from realism to abstract art forms, the halls of NGMA & its gracious compound promise to take you on a wonderful trail of beauty.

2.Sumukha
Established in 1996, Sumukha art gallery is one of the largest and most versatile art galleries in South India. Giving opportunities to both established and emerging artists, it houses a variety of contemporary art in forms of sculptures, drawings, paintings, graphics and new age media artistry like digitalized photography, installations etc in different shows.

3. Rangoli Metro
This small scale initiative of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited is a delight to visit. In its delicately crafted pathway with bougainvillea including appeals like friendship point, children play area, upper walkway etc. stands the Art Gallery. The miniature gallery with its walls lined up with beautiful works by several artists will surely make you stop and admire them.

4. 1-Shanti Road
Established in 2003, this art residency is privately owned and is administered by a NGO named Visual Art Collectives. Apart from exhibiting paintings, it provides a platform for slide lectures, informal conferences and gathering, performances by artists from different parts of the world along others in its programs. You can be even fortunate to be a part of talk shows conducted by artists, historians and art restorers on your visits.
